Ejiké Uwakwé

Ejike Uwakwe is Executive Director/Co-Owner of “The Slime Lab.” A health and fitness enthusiast in route to the completion of his National Academy of Sport Medicine (NASM) certification. Mr. Uwakwe is well known for his brand “Gold Tec Standard” and has amassed notoriety among his colleagues and peers in his industry. Through meticulous attention to detail vitalized hunger to excel in all facets of his life, Mr. Uwakwe strives to share his creativity with the world.

So Why Slime? Mr. Uwakwe has an autistic nephew with an extremely involved father. He has seen his brother ingratiate himself in the child rearing process through numerous avenues. From caretakers that speak different languages (sign language included) to a multitude of stimuli involving games, toys and learning tools. Nothing compared to Slime with regards to the amount of attention and concentration he gave. Therefore, when the opportunity to work with children through Slime presented itself, Mr. Uwakwe knew it was a chance to explore a new realm of business that would impact a greater change for all children and raise awareness to Autism.
